Effect of different Pilates workout endings on the kyphotic and lumbar lordotic angles

Abstract Introduction: There are no studies that investigate whether different workout endings of the Pilates method (PM), either prioritizing activation powerhouse muscles or relaxation trained during session, affects spinal curvature. Objective: Identify immediate effect a PM session ends with soft tissue mobilization wall exercises on kyphotic and lumbar lordotic angles. Methods: A crossover clinical trial 19 female practitioners used Flexicurve ruler to evaluate thoracic spine curvature before after exercise protocol, involved using massage balls exercises.
